This tour begins with a tour to historic sites of Kathmandu valley and extends to wonderful Pokhara city, a short trek under the foothills of Annapurna mountains and finally for the jungle activities in Chitwan National Park. This is going to be an easy journey as it is designed for the family of any age and fitness level.

Day 3: Day 03: Drive to Pokhara: 7 hours’ drive
Day 4: Day 04: Drive to Nayapul, trek to Ghandruk (1,940m): 1-hour drive, 4 hours’ hike
Day 5: Day 05: Trek to Jhinu Danda (1,750m): 4-5 hours trek
Day 6: Day 06: Trek to Pothana (1,890m): 4 hours’ trek
Day 7: Day 07: Trek to Phedi, drive to Pokhara, Evening city tour: 3-4 hours’ trek, 30 minutes’ drive
Day 8: Day 10: Drive or light to Kathmandu: 6 hours’ drive
Detail Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1338 m)
A Trek Through team member welcomes you at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), Kathmandu and transport you to your chosen hotel. At the evening, we’ll organize a short pre-trip discussion session, followed by welcome dinner in a Nepali restaurant where you can enjoy authentic Nepali food and cultural dance presentation.

Day 02: Kathmandu city tour
Today, you’re going to explore Nepali art, culture and religious practices. Nepal has multiple religions, predominantly Hinduism and Buddhism. They have their own style of living, creating arts and designing monuments. You’ll do a guided tour to four of UNESCO listed monuments within Kathmandu valley namely: Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swyambhunath stupa, Pashupatinath temple, and Boudhnath stupa. Your guide will describe a brief background and value of each shrine you’ll see.

Day 03: Drive to Pokhara: 7 hours’ drive
On a luxury tourist bus, it will take around 7 hours (200km) to reach Pokhara. While driving through windy highway, you’ll get to explore the beauty of countryside Nepal, small towns, villages, rivers, and farmlands.
Accommodation: 3*** Hotel, Pokhara

Day 04: Drive to Nayapul, trek to Ghandruk (1,940m): 1-hour drive, 4 hours’ hike
Will arrange a private car for about 1-hour drive to the town of Nayapul. Nayapul is the trek starting point to most of the Annapurna routes. We begin our hike through the staircase trail until reaching to big village of Birethanti. Furthermore, the muddy road and gradual uphill trail lead us to the big Gurung village of Ghandruk. This place is popular for local hospitality, culture and alluring view of Annapurna mountains. Enjoy the night in a local teahouse.

Day 05: Trek to Jhinu Danda (1,750m): 4-5 hours trek
Leaving Ghandruk, the trail drops downhill through terraces and green hills until reaching to the suspension bridge over Kyuri Khola. The rest of the journey would be through gradual uphill trail via rhododendron and pine forest. Jhinu Danda is a beautiful hill station with few tea houses and a natural hot spring.

Day 06: Trek to Pothana (1,890m): 4 hours’ trek
After breakfast, the trail continues towards Landruk, Modi Khola valley, Tolkha village and finally to our destination Pothana village. En-route enjoy the outstanding view of mountain ranges, local farmlands, and the forest.

Day 07: Trek to Phedi, drive to Pokhara, Evening city tour: 3-4 hours’ trek, 30 minutes’ drive
After leaving Pothana, Dhampus would be another big village with rich culture and sceneries of giant peaks, very famous for trekkers. We’ll continue on the decent downhill path until reaching to highway stop Phedi. We’ll have our private car/jeep to pick up and transport to Pokhara. At evening, we can take a brief tour around the Lakeside city and Phewa lake

Day 10: Drive or light to Kathmandu: 6 hours’ drive
We’ll catch a luxury tourist bus and drive back to Kathmandu. Enjoy the rest of the day in your own style. We recommend going around the city of Thamel for some souvenir shopping. At the evening, we’ll organize a farewell dinner and celebrate our trip succession – optional.
